The Settlement Class includes all persons or entities who paid the Solid Waste Surcharge to the City of Miami as either an owner or applicant for a building permit where the surcharge was assessed between December 23, 2010, and July 16, 2025.
You are excluded from the settlement if you paid the Solid Waste Surcharge but were later reimbursed for that payment. The City of Miami is also excluded from the Class.
